Senior Accountant/Analyst (Contract, Possible Hire)
Our client, a well-established credit union in Hawthorne, CA, is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant/Analyst to join their team.
Location: Hawthorne, CA
Pay Rate: $36-$45/hr Depending on Experience
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days on-site)
Duration: Contract with potential for hire, start ASAP
About the Role
This position plays a key role in financial analysis, reporting, and supporting internal accounting functions. The ideal candidate is analytical, tech-savvy, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Experience
* Banking or Credit Union industry experience is required
* Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
* Self-starter with strong analytical and technical abilities
* Experience with Symitar or AvidXchange is a significant plus
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze complex data sets and prepare detailed financial reports
* Support accounting operations and month-end activities
* Collaborate with leadership on financial insights and process improvements
